Parish Nursery
We provide loving care for infants and toddlers ages 6 months through 3 years old during a number
of our parish events and educational opportunities.
The nursery is a cost-free service provided by parish volunteers who are scheduled on a rotating basis. The nursery is located in the educational wing in Room 6, which is next to the chapel. Children may be brought to the nursery 15 minutes before the scheduled event begins. The first time you come to the nursery, please allow a little extra time to meet the volunteer childcare givers and fill out an information sheet. Please pick up your child as soon as possible after the event is over.
Your child can expect a pleasant, yet routine atmosphere including play time, a Christian–oriented video, and activities such as coloring, crafts, and story times that focus on Jesus and our faith.
For those in diapers, we ask that parents bring their child wearing a clean/dry diaper. We also ask parents to provide extra diapers and a change of clothes for the unexpected times when it might be needed. A comfort item such as a blanket or pacifier is welcomed as well. Please label all items with the child’s name.
We will maintain a “well baby” nursery. We cannot accept a child with a fever, contagious rash or signs of infection. Please do not bring a sick child to the nursery!
Please note that we will not be serving snacks, though infants may be given a bottle if it is provided by the parents.
