Sew Simple
Sew Simple is a ministry through which we sew clothing and blankets for children in orphanages in Latin America. We currently make dresses, short and long pants for boys, and blankets. Patterns and fabric are provided. Individuals may sew at home and/or sew with our group on Mondays from 1-3 pm in rooms 1 & 2.

Completed projects are distributed through Food For The Poor (www.foodforthepoor.org), the highly reputable and third-largest international relief and development charity in the United States. Food For The Poor relief programs and projects are helping children and the poorest of the poor by providing food, housing, health care, education, water projects, emergency relief and micro-enterprise assistance in the Caribbean and Latin America.

Fabric and supplies may be donated to support this ministry. We are in need of new or gently used sheets and pillowcases. Any other fabric must be a light weight cotton or poly-cotton blend, such as muslin (no knits or silks). All patterns and colors can be used. To volunteer, request more information, or donate supplies, please contact Kay Kermode at 248-476-4700 or Kay@saintpriscilla.org.
