Web Design Team
Our original website was developed in 2005 by a parishinor to serve our
Knights of Columbus council's
needs. In 2007, Richard Miga of
Synergistic Solutions donated his time and expertise to
assist the parish in developing our custom site to include information about all
groups and activities within the parish and our volunteer web design team.
Our parish website is developed and maintained by a team of volunteer parishioners.
The
Faith Formation department »
(a.k.a.
Religious Education or Catechism) website is separately developed
and maintained by
Faith Formation staff.
Helping hands are always needed to continue to develop and update the site. If you
are interested in learning about web site development and maintenance, working with
our web design team is a great way to learn and serve your parish at the same time.
Ways that you may be able to help:
- Gathering current information from parish groups.
- Updating the Google Calendar (with group events).
- Editing podcasts using free, open source software tools.
- Photographing parish events.
- Assisting with graphic design work.
- Using web site development software to update & add new features..
Our design team meets periodically, but we do most of our work
through email and other online resources. We are constantly striving
to improve the site, so we welcome your ideas, suggestions, and contributions!
To voluneer your talents or give us feeback, please email our Web Team Coordinator at feedback@SaintPriscilla.org. Thank You.

Tim Flaherty (Staff Rep. Coordinator)
Tim became the Staff Rep. Coordinator in July, 2011, taking over from Jeanne Marie Laframboise.
His purpose is to oversee the Web Team's activities and guide us, as needed. Tim manages the
separate Faith Formation (FF) website. For several months, our Web Team has talked about migrating to a
CMS (Content Management System) (i.e. Joomla, Drupal) to more easily update the site. In July, 2011, the team decided
to merge the parish & Faith Formation sites back together using the eCatholicChurches.com CMS that FF uses. |
